Description
The Mackenzie Hall Renovation project is a comprehensive renovation of Mackenzie Tower. One of 5 total student residence buildings that make up Lister Center, Mackenzie tower was originally built in 1968, but has not received any significant renovations in its history.
The scope of work included within this project includes full interior demolition, hazardous materials abatement, full replacement of the electrical and mechanical systems, updates to interior finishes, replacement of all exterior windows, roof replacement, exterior building façade repairs and refinishing and the installation of photovoltaic collectors for solar power. In addition, this project included the install of a new emergency generator and fire pump that will serve the entire Lister Tower Complex.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Delnor was still able to keep original timelines and safely maintain peak manpower of 200 workers on site and over 140,000 man hours logged during the pandemic due to our COVID-19 task force and pandemic plan and protocols.
