Description

This project was a fit-out of a new 51,585 square foot urology department on the seventh floor of the Kaye Clinic to provide multi-level clinic care for urology patients in a centralized location. This renovation’s objective was to ensure proper space allocation in an interdisciplinary environment. Collective planning and strategic coordination with all stakeholders were required to minimize the impact to the daily operations of the fully-occupied clinic above on the eighth floor, while not imposing on the construction schedule and project performance. Demountable partition systems were installed based on mock-up details that were created for the user group to provide final input on its suitability and functionality. Delnor adhered to CSA Z317.13-12 infection control standards and implementation of the necessary guidelines to protect all the facility occupants.
