ATB Financial selects Delnor to build their new Edmonton corporate headquarters
Delnor is excited to announce it has been awarded the contract for ATB Financial’s monumental project, consolidating its Edmonton corporate locations into the TELUS House on Jasper Ave. This project is slated for completion in early 2014.
“We have always had a great relationship with ATB Financial and have worked together for many years, so we are honored to be selected as Construction Manager for such a significant project,” says Glenn Cyrankiewicz, Delnor Construction’s Chief Executive Officer. “Being that we are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year, we feel it is the perfect project to kick off 2013 for our company. ATB has some very innovative plans for their new offices, and its employees will definitely appreciate the thinking and strategy that has gone into this project.”
Delnor Construction was also Construction Manager for ATB Financial’s consolidation project in Calgary, which reached substantial completion at the end of 2012. The project featured both environmental and technological innovations such as an Innovation Centre, a living wall that promotes indoor vegetation, and state of the art TV screens on the perimeter of the lobby walls.
“In making a choice about a construction manager in Edmonton, we were the winners,” saidDave Mowat, ATB Financial President and CEO. “This city has deep talent and passion in this area, so we had terrific choices. Delnor Construction is one of those talented local companies and has worked extensively and for many years in the building we’re moving into. They’ll help us construct a modern workplace for ATB associates, as well as help build more vibrancy in downtown Edmonton.”
Delnor Construction has been a Construction Manager for several projects in Telus House over its corporate history and has worked on almost every floor in the building, with companies such as TELUS, Ernst & Young, and more. Construction for this project will begin in June 2013 and will add unique features to the landmark building, including which will transform Jasper Avenue.
